HARRYPOTTERHARRYPOTTER.

 ** Warning, contains minor spoilers.

I SAW THE HARRY POTTER MOVIE.

I know I'm pretty late, because it came out more than a week ago.
I saw it yesterday, and wow. It was so good.
The whole movie mainly consisted of fight scenes. I normally don't like that in a movie, because I enjoy seeing something with a complicated plotline.
But for this, it worked.

It's probably because it's the finale and everything, so it had to end with a bang.
And end with a bang it did.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
But because I had to go to the 3D showing, (The tickets for the normal one was sold out) when I started crying I had to take off the glasses to wipe my eyes.
And it's hard trying to watch a movie, wipe tears away, and clean 3D glasses while simultaneously sobbing your eyes out.

I'm the type of person you don't want to sit next to in a theater.
When I watch a movie, I laugh in all the wrong places and I talk to myself.

There was this one thing that Voldemort said, and I thought it was hilarious.
It was when Harry went to the Forbidden Forest to go get killed.
And then He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named said, (If I remember correctly) "The boy who lived, come to die."
I thought that was hysterical.
I tried to contain it, but I ended up bursting out laughing.
I just thought that if I was Voldemort, the to-be conqueror of the world, I wouldn't pick something as ridiculous as that to say.
It sounds almost smug and petty.
It's as if he's saying, "I'm going to kill you. Again. Because you lived the first time I tried. So yeah."
I think I'm the only one who thinks that's funny.

And if there was an MVP of the movie, it would have been Neville.
He was just plain heroic.
But I think it was sad how didn't really have a big role in the movies. He was just "one of the classmates".
He was always one of my favorites, second only to Fred and George.

It was an amazing movie. The ending of it was good too.
THE DADDY HARRY GREW STUBBLE. <3

And that concludes my geeking session.
It all ends.

Did anyone get that?
Since it says "It All Ends" on the HP7 promotional posters?
LOL I'M SO FUNNY.

.... ok I'll leave now.

ahahah Voldermort was so funny. His limbs were like disjointed, his hug was so awkward, and his face was HILARIOUS.
He was more a comic figure than the actual villain.

LOL cricketfreak, you're right!

And Fiona I totally get your thoughts on Neville. While the movies were wonderful to have, many of the characters lacked the "filling out" that happens in the books.

Based strictly from the movies, Neville is only that other dunderheaded classmate, Ginny has no personality, Dumbledore remains a curious mystery and everyone seems to get confused and think that Snape is Harry's father or something. *facepalm*

P.S. If you thought Voldy's line "The boy who lived... come to die" was so hilarious, you NEED to watch this Harry Potter/Friday parody. Make sure to watch right through the credits to the very end! =D

I watched the movie on Friday.
And I was disappointed =(

I'm so glad you finally got to see it!

I actually found what Voldemort said to be rather epic! Though his hug with Draco was rather hilarious!

I'm sure seeing themselves older is quite surreal coz now they have an idea of what they're gonna look like in a few years!

My favourite quote was when Professor McGonagall did the spell that made the statues come to life and she was like [with like a sort of childish innocence]: "I've always wanted to do that spell."

Voldemort was definitely awkward and funny in this movie :)

There were so many things that bothered me.
1) Um, Harry never jumped off the building with Voldemort, W.T.F.
2) WHERE THE HELL WAS GRAWP IN THE FINAL BATTLE?! And the centaurs??!
3) They never even made it known that one of the kids at the end was Lupin's/Tonk's baby.
4) WHY DID GINNY LOOK SO OLDDD EW.
5) They couldn't even explain properly how Harry got the elder wand. Like no one will understand if they haven't read the book..

That aside, the whole theatre cheered when Neville killed Nagini.

And it was hilarious when McGonnagal(spelling..?) said "I've always wanted to try that spell" when she awakened the statues. BOMB. Love her.

Okay I'm done. :)

I agree with everything Ashley. They also failed to show when the house elf come out of the kitchen and fight. That would've been nice.

Anyway, I also love Fred and George. :)

Well, they kept Mrs Weasley's "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B-TCH!" and her duel with Bellatrix.
So I'm happy.
(I went as Bellatrix, BTW.)

ahaha. nice! i'm one of those people who laugh at inopportune times and talk to myself or someone beside me at movies, too.
i've gotten a bit wary of doing so lately, though because of that one incident when some guy in the back ordered "please refrain from talking" and it was just the opening credits. hmm. touchy..touchy. haha.

Jodie: That's fine, I wouldn't read this post if I hadn't seen it either. But when you do see it, let me know how you liked it! (:

Hanis: I cried so much too, ahaha.

iZaynab: Oh dear, I'm sorry it was spoiled. ):
I hope that it wasn't too big of a spoiler.

Cricket: I actually agree. Voldemort was really scary when I was younger, but now as I'm all grown up, he's nothing compared to other horror movies.

Thinkellen: I was really mad that Ginny had no character in the movie too. Since Harry would eventually be with her, she really didn't have a role. Besides admiring Harry and snogging (love that word!) with Dean.
Ugh.
And I saw the video.
LOL it was hilarious. Loved the part where they were in the theater and Harry and Voldy were commenting. AHAHAHA. :D

Hamza: I'm sorry you were disappointed, but I rather liked it, ahaha.

Hazel: Voldemort didn't strike me to be the hugging type, so I was surprised when he hugged Draco.
But there wasn't that huge of a difference between the older characters. I thought they would have white hair or something.

Dee: I laughed so much at that.
That's probably one of my favorie parts of the movie. It was funny seeing this old, respectable wizard act like a little kid. <3

Ezazi: Oh good, I'm not the only one! (:

Furree: YOU SHOULD SEE ITTTTT!!!

Perfectly Imperfect: Awesome! Tell me what you though!

Kathy: I could never tell if the directors meant for him to be that awkward, or if it was accidental. o_O

Ashley: 1.) I think they did that for the 3d effects. That's what I heard...
2.) I KNOW. I WAS LOOKING FOR THEM AND I WAS SO MAD WHEN I COULDN'T FIND THEM AVALDKFJABDLKFJDK.
3.) I think that was a minor detail, since they had so much to cover and a lot of dead people.
4.) Yeah, that was definetly one of the things that bothered me too.
5.) No, I thought they did a good job understanding. He just didn't explain it to Voldy, but to Ron and Hermione on the bridge.
NEVILLE IS SUCH A HERO. AND HIS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. <3333

Mayen: The house elf are so cute ahaha.

Abigail Bunting: Bellatrix is such a great character, because the actor managed to make her seem even more deranged than she was in the book.

Isashime: That guy seems like a jerk.
I mean, if you absolutely MUST tell someone to stop talking, it should be a few minutes into the movie, since most people shut up after the opening credits.

Lemons: Psh, I bet you'll see it soon. (:

Hamza, Cricket, Hazel: Thank you so much!

ShuShu: Psh, it'll be in theather for a looong time, so don't worry!

Madeline: I'll go take a look at your blog. :D
I'm glad that you could find mine!
