I hope you understand the title.
It's because Jackson Pollock did splatter paint, and now I'm just going to vomit everything I've been thinking.
Sorry for that mental image.
I've feel like I've been doing these talk-about-anything posts more often.
Probably because there's no school, so naturally I haven't been thinking as much as I normally do.
And a side effect of that loss of thinking, is I'm less motivated to do anything.
Summer's been nice because I've been lazy.
Get up, eat, and then go to swim practice. Get home, eat some more and then go to bed.
I've been reading a lot.
As in sitting in my chair and not moving for a couple hours. Except to turn the pages.
But I wouldn't classify that under "movement".
I finished Room yesterday.
It was probably the most unique book that I've ever read.
Mainly because the narrator is five years old. It's not five years old in the sense that the vocabulary is limited to words like "happy", "sad" and "poopy". But it's his innocence and his perspective that makes it a good read.
I would highly recommend it.
I'm not sure if you care to know, but I did my laundry yesterday.
Since it's the summer and I don't go out much, I haven't been worrying about outfits and seeming put together.
Instead, I've worn virtually every piece of clothing I own. I thought that this was clever of me, because I'd always be wearing clean clothes, and I didn't have to do my laundry every week.
But on the last few days, I've been wearing my ratty oversized soccer jerseys from 5th grade and these ridiculous knee high socks since nothing else was clean.
And then I realized I had to do my laundry.
And wash everything.
I had to do five loads.
It was the most work I did this summer.

Yikes, imagine all the ironing then too! :(
Any thought is a good thought. There's always someone interested in them, too.
But FIVE LOADS? Do you realize how much that is?
I read Room recently too. It really inspired me to improve my dental hygiene. Now I floss every day.
I despise doing laundry. Seriously, it's one of my least-favorite chores (not that I enjoy any of them). So I applaud you for doing FIVE loads :P
oh laundry i think is the bane of my existence lol
The idea of Room intrigued be but because I know what's happening to the mother I couldn't bring myself to read it.
; D iDid that a while ago.
Its fun doing the laundry when you have nothing left to do ~
& iMight just go buy Room right now ~
Ugh. I hate doing laundry D;
five loads :O
i've been doing nothing except reading books (ang=d blogs) all day, too! my dad is always like, "you only read and sleep go do something productive -_-"
i think i need to read Room.
and* ahahah whattayyy typooo.
Woot for the title. good one =)
Summers are well deserved breaks while you are at school. I wish I could have mine back. ah, well.
And laundry is a pain. I hold a record of washing 73 pieces of cloth back when I was at a hostel. This, when there were NO washing machines provided. My friends did the counting =D Funny days.
Hazel: I don't think I'll iron them. [: Just fold them really nicely and pray there won't be any wrinkles.
Fang: Yeah, I do. I had to wash them all, ahaha. I have a lot of clothes..
Rachel: I don't think I've ever flossed every day, but I do make an effort to do it more often.
Anna: Actually, I hate vaccuming a lot more than laundry. Since laundry is more of a "shove it in the machine and leave" kind of deal, it's not as bad as running around the house with a massive, twenty pound vaccum.
Natalie: But at least your clothes are clean! :D
JW: Yeah, I know what you mean, but it's still a good read. I'd reccomend you give it a try. (:
iZaynab: Lol, I actually did have nothing else to do.
And I think Room just came out in paperback, so if you're interested in buying, you can save a few dollars buying that instead of a $25 hardcover copy.
Jodie-Ann: I would have to agree.
Furree: My dad hates my unproductivity too. Eck.
Delilah: Ahaha, thank you. [:
Wow. I washed my shirt once without a machine, and it was awful. I can only imagine how hard it was to wah 73 pieces.
But at least your friends were around to make it more fun. :D
hmm.. the book seem nice, something i've never read before. I will try and find that book. :)
yay for finally having time to sit down and read for a couple of hours. that's pure bliss in my opinion. :)
i'll check out this recommendation of yours. also, FIVE LOADS? you really do have a lot of free time! haha.
